The material testing single port light source can output UVA or UVA+UVB spectra. 16S simulates high-intensity ultraviolet irradiation for several years over several days. By adjusting the size of the light spot and adjusting the power supply, the light intensity of the output port can be adjusted. 16S has an "A" level spectral output,+/-5% uniformity, and 2% output stability, making it an ideal light source for material testing and research.
UV exposure in the range of UVB 280-320 nm and UVA 320-400 nm can cause material aging. Using a 3cm light spot output, 16S can simulate one year of UV irradiation in seven days, while using a 1cm light spot output, 16S can simulate one year of UV irradiation in 24 hours.
The output strength of 16S can be controlled through adjustable buttons on the output port and power supply. The intensity range is 500-700 J/m2 per minute, but the intensity can be adjusted to 1 J/m2 per minute. 16S accurately reproduces the solar ultraviolet spectrum filtered out of visible and near-infrared light, with an intensity 20-30 times that of sunlight. Compliant with the latest ASTM laboratory light source standards, including G151 and G155 standards. There is no heat component in the light, which avoids the damage of heat to the sample during the testing process.
